New Contactless SmartCard Reader CCS01

CCS introduces the new low-cost USB contactless smartcard reader CCS01, which is suitable for a wide range of contactless smartcard applications such as access control, ticketing systems, E-purse and ID cards.

An Overview

The CCS Reader is a contactless card reader for smartcard applications. The system operates on Windows OS through USB interface with PC, which provides high-speed data transmission. The communication between the reader and the card is through the antenna built in the reader and the card. All RF data transmission between the card and reader is encrypted using a secure algorithm. By using industry-standard encryption techniques and advanced key management systems, CCS reduces the risk of compromised data or duplicated cards. The Reader is provided with LED to indicate the status. The casing of the Reader is suitable for table placement or wall mounting and operates over a wide temperature range.
